Default Bendpak md-6xp scissor lift

Has anyone have this lift or seen it? I have a few of questions about it.

1) I heared the wheels on the lift eventully destroys the cement from the weight of a car and you should put metal under the wheels of the lift to keep this from happening. Is this true?

2) I have a 72 will the lift arms fit with no problem?

3) I heared you have to drive the vetter up on 2 2x12s to get enough room to position the arms. Is there any other way?

Thanks Eric

I have had one for a couple of years. Use it all the time in my garage. The rear wheels have marked the cement from moving back and forth, but I wouldn't call it destroyed. I have a 68 and the lift works just fine. I built the ramps in this thread: forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-general/1526112-scissor-lift-ramp-for-bend-pak-no-dial-up.html#post1557321206

Or you can do this: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...lled-pics.html

The ramps are for clearance, not all model Vettes need them. I had a C5 at the time and needed the ramps to clear the front spoiler.

Hope this helps!
