Default Need Dipstick Help

This is what I have -

It's a vortec crate engine which came with the above truck dipstick. I'm looking for something more accessible and consistent with the typical corvette design. Would an 80 to 82 stick & tube work with my block? I've also found on the forum suggestions to use the ZZ4 setup (GMPP Indicator & Tube). Obviously, I'm looking for a solution that'll work with headers. Please provide a pic with your solution. As they say, a picture's worth a thousand words! By the way, the car's a 69.

check my ad in parts for sale.

this goes right into the block, no tube. seals with an o ring. 0.453" diameter, so the hole in your block need to be a little bigger than that to let the oring in.

Miky2001: Thanks for the response. However, I prefer a no-mod solution.

To the rest of the forum universe, I await your opinions and suggestions.
