I need to identify some wires on an 80.
I am installing autometer gauges and need to id some wires in my 80. These are the wires at the connector of the original panel. I don't want to cut out that connector just splice into the wires.
Light wire
hot wire
volt gauge wire
fuel sending wire
water temp wire
I have a diagram but it is hard to read. And yes I did a search

So i think u want the wires as they come out of theat gauge panel connector.
Here goes: Volts gauge wire is a Pink with Black(stripe?) and #39 on the wiring diagram.
Fuel sending wire is = Pink and #30 on dia.
Water temp wire = Dark Green and #35 on dia.
The wire for the gauge panel "lights" = Grey and #8
For a "Hot wire" i think u mean a wire thats hot even with ign sw off. Try the Clock wire = Orange #40
Hope this is what u wanted.
