Default Bearings, pads and rotor replacement....in progress

More work on the 82 being completed this weekend. Need front brake pads and rotors as the left one looks like toast on the inside. These are the originals as they were riveted, I imagine that they can be cut to spec, but not sure due to the scorns in them. Posting pics as the work progresses, feel free to comment on the condition of the parts involved.
Once I got the hang of drilling out the rivets, it went very well. Did it with inexpensive bits, broke a few, but things worked out good. Inside the hub looks good as far as I can tell. the races are very smooth and I don't feel any imperfections in them. The bearing also look very good, LS has Timken bearings, did not get to the RS yet.
Both inside pads have the same wear pattern, and that is, they are very thin. Not seeing any leaks from the calipers, so that is good news. Had a tough time removing the inner bearing seal, even though I started another thread on removal, ended up looking in the Service Manual, and found that prying was the way to go. So pry I did with a small pry bar and in 3 seconds it was out. Now if only I did that sooner........
Also found in my parts collection, 2 sets of brakes pads for the C3, so I am ready to go.
Here are some pics, I know there are a lot of threads from days gone buy that have been posted, via the search button. So here is another, hopefully someone will find this helpful down the road.

the RS assembly...

LS caliper removed....

LS front of rotor, doesn't look to bad....

LS rotor rear side, looks like toast to me, I may be wrong, but the cut groves feel deep to me...

dust cap removed....

castle nut and cotter pin....

bearing exposed.....

drilled out rivets....

LS front spindle....

bearing pic blurred....

inside of hub with inner bearing still in...

inner bearing seal.....

inside and outside of spindle before cleaning....

after cleaning, races look good.....

Green grease in there looks good, they are probably still good. (bearings).
Clean them up, repack, new seals and put it back together.

They are Timken USA made bearings in there and were fine, cleaned them, did the repack and installed new inner seals and it is back together.....went for a ride and the wheels stayed on and no heat from the wheels either, so I must have done something right.....
