Default Lug Nut

I can't get one lug nut off the rear wheel The nut just spins I believe the knurls are gone on the stud allowing it to spin.
Maybe a cut off wheel to cut the nut and split it. ????
I have new studs and lug nuts .

Do you have a nut splitter that will fit onto the lug? Not sure if there is enough space or not. If not, a dremel to start splitting it and a chisel to finish the job may work.

dremel it as much as possible, then cold chisel and a hammer, also any tire shop can get that off...for a fee

Taking the stud off is the easy part.............since you probably have the hole in the spindle hogged out.......you'll have to either weld the new stud in perfectly perpendicular or redrill all five holes a few degrees off or buy a new spindle. Cheapest is buy a new spindle. I spent about $100 to have the five holes machined in between the existing holes...only because I knew a competent machinist.

If I need to get a new spindle can I reuse the old bearings or will they need to be set to new specs . Arggggggggggggg.
I need to stress the importance of checking your lug nuts for tightness I learned the hard way to do this...
