If your radiator has a cap with a tube going to a plastic reservoir you have an open system with an overflow tank. If your radiator has no cap and a tube running to a metal tank with a pressure cap you have a closed system...the tank is an expansion tank not an overflow tank.

Your cooling system is not stock, based on your other post.

Almost all cooling systems have been closed since the Model T.
The proper cap for the 75 has a vacuum valve because of the overflow tank.
There are 2 types, a gravity and a spring loaded vacuum valve.
The spring loaded is more reliable.
