Default Mechanic recommendation in Houston

Just purchased a 71 convertable and would like for an experienced, honest mechanic to give it the "once over". Any recommendations?

You might do a search and take a look in the SW regional forum. They have had some similar posts I think. I will also be looking soon - I bought a 72 about three months ago but fortunately have not had it in a shop yet.

I can't say enough about Bob. I am very particular, and this guy is as good and honest as they come. Not sure where in Houston you are, Spring is on the northside. I had him go through my 72 vette when I got it.

He is currently doing a suspension upgrade for me, brakes will follow that, then an LS transplant. His place on any given day is full of clasic cars, muscle cars, hot rods, you name it.
