Anyone using Patriot side pipe kit?
I have a 78, L82, 350auto. I already have headers on, summit type, and am getting to the point I will need to install an exhaust. Anyone running a Patriot set, Patriot H1060, for example. Any clearance issues and which size? 50", 60", 70".
Thanks

If you want to keep your headers, and if they are longtube, you'll find that the collectors are behind where the sidepipes start. You'll need a "S" bend to connect the two.
Problem two is that the patriot side pipes tend to hang too low. You'll need another curved pipe like this to allow the pipes to sit BESIDE the frame instead of under it:

If you're thinking of using the patriot faux 4-1, it may be easier to mount. This user just notched the rocker covers.
P.S. I got all these by Googleing "c3 corvette patriot side pipes"

hate to tell you, headman makes a long tube that points the collector toward the sidepipe. that makes for a cleaner install that flows better.
