OLd lady moved out, dish washer just became parts cleaner.
Man, i tell you what, you set the thing for pots and pans and you have the best parts cleaner i have ever seen. When i get my garage built, I'm buying me a dishwasher to put in it. I put my oil pan and my pistons in there after i had already run them through a parts washer and #!&* they where clean. They were ten times cleaner. To bad the old lady was here to watch me do it. :D

I used her cat once to wipe the grease off my hands, she didn't care for that. I didn't like the cat anyway. I like cats in general, just not that one. :mad

I was driving to work one morning and I notice a dishwasher at the end of the drive way. The owner of the house was watering the lawn I asked him if there was anything wrong with the diswasher he said no My wife wanted a new one just because her sister bought a new he also said this thing was perfect hardly used. He help me load the sucker in my trunk and since then that is what I have been using to get my parts clean " I got the idea from a tranny shop that is what they use to clean the trany parts" I just need a wahing machine now to clean my oil rags.

HEHE, when I had this house before getting remarried, some 4.5 years ago I was replacing the vette engine and tranny, so the 700 was in one corner, and the engine was on the stand in the center of the kitchen....and the cyl heads on the counter, valve covers set aside on the table, oil pan likewise....
it was all clean and new, never made a dent or smudge....
measured the 700 on the floor and squared it off for building mounts/dimensonality....
wonder if I could do that today????
hummmmmmmm////
GENE :D :D :D :D    :smash: :jester

You guys are my gods! I get in trouble for taking the wrong towel or using her watering can to mix coolant in.

Don't forget that turque baster for sucking dirty brake fluid out of the reservoir. Also, that 20 Quart stew pot is an excellent parts dip when using the fry basket for the small parts. You can fit a whole carb in there and get all the tarnish off everything at the same time! I'm using one now for my rear end, and even the case fits in there while I pour carb cleaner over it to rinse all the metal shards out.
I also agree about the living room for engine rebuilding...that concrete is HARD...it's nice to have something soft to lay on while working...heck, just tear down the wall from the garage so you can drive into the living room! :reddevil

Any lonely Maytag guys out there have ideas for supercharging one of these steamy suckers? Higher thermostat, voltage upgrade, pressure pump rebuild? Lars may know.
