Hi tp,
New Member! Welcome!!!
First Corvette?
How extensive will the restoration be?
Many people work on the driveline and chassis first, then the exterior, and finally the interior.
Regards,
Alan

Melting Slicks
look for rust in the typical places (windshield frame, firewall, floorboards, frame).
other than that - it depends on what you're going to do with the car. Racecar, you probably don't care if it's a "numbers matching" car.... OTH, if you're restoring to showroom condition - completeness of the car would make or break the deal.
notice I didn't say anything about how it runs/drives/tight suspension.... you'll be replacing all of those things on a car that's sat for 7 years so it really doesn't matter at all.

start with disconnecting the battery, that is what the instructions always seem to start with i am sure you will formulate a plan quickly as you assess the cars needs. good luck and keep us posted
