Default Are Autozone Gabriel gas shocks any good on a vette?

Any one ever used the Autozone Gabriel gas shocks. Are they any good, or would use another brand? Thanks, Jesse D.

I don't know about the Gabriel shocks, but we just put a set of KYB gas shocks on my 71 coupe, work great and not bad for price. Ecklers has them and a few other places too. Good luck!

Get the KYB's from Summit. Their catalog shows 'em at $27.95 ea. Wayyyyy cheaper than Eckler's (and you can send the money you save to ME!) :jester

Don't know if you are interested, but I have a set of these with little miles on them(2000). I have them on Ebay for $35+ shipping. I didn't have a problem with them, the only thing about Monroe,Gabriels, and others is the center to center on the rear shocks. If they go beyond 14.5" you could have a binding problem with the 1/2 shafts. These measure up @ 14.250" and worked for me.

I have had a set on the rear for over a year. Better than the old kyb's that were there. At $20.00 each not a bad deal.
