My wife and I are watching Cheers right now (hey I can multi-task :lol: :lol: ) and they just show Sam's Corvette. It was a red Mid-year convertible. Anyone know the year????

SAM- "Good.. good. (Checks him out) Oh, VERY GOOD. VERY GOOD... Just a few multiple choice questions... Number one, it's high noon your driving in Harvard Square, parking is limited. Do you, A) park in a handicap zone B) park in a regular spot under a tree, C) drive around until a space opens up.

DENNIS- "C"

SAM- (leaps to feet) "What are you nuts??!! I can't believe it man! It's a trick question. You don't drive this baby at high noon, man! Sun damage, bucko! What the hell is wrong with you?!! What do you want to do, oxidize the paint?!! Get outta' here, you make me sick!

They actually used two '67 Vettes for Sammy. The first one was featured on My Classic Car-- a Rally Red 427 Coupe. In a later episode, it magically became a Rally Red 327 Convertible. :cheers:

I remember that episode but you must have the script right in front of you. What a great scene. A 67..thats what I thought but you just see it for a few seconds. It was the episode where at the beginning Woody is laying in the street saying "Nobody touch me, Nobody touch me" with a big crowd around him like he is hurt. Then you hear Sams voice say "OK Woody" Woody jumps up and Sam pulls up in his car and says "thanks Woody". Woody was saving a parking space for him right in front of Cheers. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hey I am watching cheers right now and Woody was driving the vette. Sam undid his seat belt Woody made a turn and Sam fell out. :lol:

I saw that last night too. It was only on a second but it was either a 63 or 64 vert~the louvers were the 2 long type not the 5 fin of a 67. It had gold lines,knock offs,and side pipes.
