My Muncie 4 speed is tough to put in gear. It never grinds, its just hard to actually put the car into gear. Never pops out, and comes out of gear just fine. Ive got spec freeplay in my clutch pedal. My transmission was freshened up recently, clutch is new, and Ive got a Hurst shifter that Ive taken apart and fully lubricated before install. Any suggestions?

Sounds to me like the clutch needs just a bit of adjustment.

check the throw out bearing, I had troubles with a TKO500 and that was all that was wrong. it was like you have to rev match to get it to go into 1st while slowing down.
