Default Wiper override switch wires.

I'm in the process of wiring up the dash, console on my 69 project. I have installed the wiper override switch and according to the diagram a "red" & "red/white" wire terminate at the switch. I have attached a photo of the switch and wires. Is this correct? Could someone post a photo of their working switch & wiring. I will try & get another shot of mine. Thanks.

Hi Z,
I really don't know if the 69 switch is the same as my 71 switch.
Both wires are in one connector in 71, but the red/white wire is in the position shown...towards the center of the car.
Regards,
Alan

You have it correct Richard. The 69 switch had the terminals parallel to the floor and had two separate wires (red and red/white) going to them. 70 and later had the terminals perpendicular to the floor and had the same two wires, but in a single harness like what Alan shows.

Default Wires

Thanks Guy's it's much appreciated. It's been 12 years to this point and it looks like I will hopefully be driving it this coming season.

Hi Z,
Looks like a pretty serious 69 in your pictures!
12 years well spent.... just think how much trouble you could have gotten in to with out a good project to take you energy!
Regards,
Alan
