Ok, do I have to buy the complete kit?
Here's what I have, and what I would like to do.
I have a 290hp 350 with a 6-71 blower. I want to place a nitrous plate under each carb and inject the methanol thro those plates. Can I get everything I need to do this without having to buy the complete kit??

Hi SLEEPERBUSA,
Unless you already have a complete kit installed you will need to buy one along with a few extras. The kit comes with one injector nozzle which should be fine with 290 hp. But if want to run to small injector nozzles you will need to purchase another one along with the Tee fitting and appropriate hose to have one under each carb. A filter is also recommended. Someone else may want to chime in that has more experience with your type of setup.

back in the day I built some supercharged boat engines with water injection and found on rebuilds the top ring groove showed excessive ring groove wear. I believe this was cause by the steam generated washed away the oil film on the top ring groove causing this wear.

Hi PAmotorman,
With so many people using meth injection these days I would think if that was a problem we would know by now.
Back in the day I ran water injection using the windshield washer tank and pump.
