Dub,
Thanks a bunch for all your help. I got the fiberglass repair done. I need to reattach some of the metal brackets notice there was some type of adhesive used to attach. Do you have a recommendation for adhesive, is it something I can get at home depot. Also I wanted to ask you about the inner wall of the repair, the color of the inner wall of the panel is gray, is there specific paint I should use to paint the inner wall. Also what about the firewall I did a repair there also is there a firewall paint that I should use over the new fiberglass.
Thanks again really appreciate all your help.

Dub,
Attached are my pics after few layers of fiberglass. Picking up the Evercoat panel adhesive. Thanks for the help. One of the pics has metal brackets I took off the body, they were riveted

, bolted and glued on. What type of adhesive should I use to reattach the brackets? thanks please let me know if there are other things you see from the pics that I should address. Again thanks for all your help.

The brackets in your last photo are POP RIVETED tot eh lower fenders. Those two 3/16" holes in each bracket is where the rivets go

HOPEFULLY you still have the metal bracket that goes on the backside of the front flange of the fender. THIS bracket ALSO gets bolted to the large bolt in the end of your impact bar.

This metal retainer/bracket reinforces the flange of the fender and it is ALSO pop riveted to the front face of the flange.

Repair looks good. Do as like we talked about and you should be good to go.

After our phone conversation...NOW being able to see what you have going on....YES...you will need to apply some mat and resin that is good for SMC.

VPA would not work in this scenario all by itself. VPA can be used on top of your lamination to get the shape correct.
