What suspension upgrades for modern rims/rubber?

Depending on what size wheel/ tire combo that you want, you may need wheel adapters, relocate the parking brake bracket on the trailing arms, or maybe a set of offset trailing arms.
I think some guys have Torque Thrust II wheels (and a couple other types of wheels) that fit without any other changes or adapters.
Check the "stickie" up top for Wheel/ Tire Combos.

If You have a Car that was set up at the factory for a tall narrow tire and You install a shorter wider tire it will quicken up the steering response. However when You start cornering and pushing the car to the limits it will lean enough that very little of the Tire is making contact with the road. So You need to control the lean ( sway). Obviously sway bars sound like the thing to do, which may be, but a combination of them, springs and an overall suspension system that is in good shape is what's needed.

I understand the need for the spacers - I was wondering if the stock suspension/steering could handle the bigger grip/stopping/cornering of the modern tires.
