Heater box vacuum hoses
I'm almost done the interior. The last thing I need to connect are the vacuum hoses to the heater box controls. Here is the diagram they sent me with the hose kit.
And here is the actual hose connection button, which doesn't look like the button on the bottom of the diagram.
If you look close at the above picture, you can see the nipples are labelled 1, 2, 3, 4.
My question is which color hoses go to which number nipple. Does anyone have an idea? I looked in the assembly manual and it is of no help.

Hi S,
According to the 1971 CSM the nipples are in the same location but are numbered differently in 71:
6 is black (vacuum source) your #4
5 is blue (defroster door valve) your #3
4 is black (air door valve) your #2
3 is red (defroster door valve) your #1
So:
#4 is the vacuum supply
#3 is defog
#2 is out side air
#1 is de-ice
Maybe?
Regards,
Alan
