The wipers on my 79 work in slow and fast settings but not intermittent. I had read up on the issue but I'm not clear on what I need to buy to fix the issue. Last year I bought the wiper relay from Ecklers for about $30. I replaced that relay in the console and they still did not work.

I read about the relay going out and the wipers not working at all.

Now I see that there is another relay available for $109 that supposedly goes in the console also. Is this my fix?

If someone can clear things up for me I'd sure appreciate it!

There is an intermittent wiper control module that may need to be replaced but you may have the bypass installed already because I'm pretty sure the wipers don't work at all if the module burns out but don't quote me
