Default Do they make short spark plugs for people with headers?

The title kind of says it all. I put these headers on after my plugs, and am thinking it will be tight enough just to get the plugs out, I'm thinking shorter plugs will make my life quite a bit easier. If so what do you guys use?

They do make "header plugs" that are available from most of the big stores. The 'vettes still use a standard plug so as long as you get the same heat range of plug, you should be ok. Here's an example:

I just picked my vette up about a month ago and the plugs that are in now are Bosch platinum HRX something and are definitely shorter than AC or Champion plugs. I cross referenced them online and they were for 5.7 SBC and seem to work fine.

Default tight plug fit

if you have a plug in a tight spot buy a cheap socket and cut it down to fit over plug then use a open end wrench, works every time for me .

NGK makes short plugs as well. Maybe they are all the same length, but the ones I run are 1/4" shorter than stock.

Most plug sockets hav a 3/4 hex made on the end for the drive. If you select a socket with a deep inner hex, so there is enough room, cut the plug end of the socket off. A cut-off wheel on a grinder works fine. Once on the plug, use a 3/4 in. wrench to loosen or tighten the socket.
