Default wheel 15 x 8 rims weights

I just got the polished American eagles 111 15 x 8 for my 76, besides they look great I put them on the scale and they weigh 15lbs each vs about 30lbs on the stock rally's. Just to help anyone looking for wheels post your weights and price

15 x 8 polished American eagles 15lb each and 4 for 512 shipped

any reason why you didnt go for 17" wheels considering how hard it is to find a decent 15" tire?

Being a stock l48 and on a tight budget no need to spend extra money on wheels/tires that wont help a non performance car and just trying to loose weight currently. On the other hand my 80 has 17inch PIRELLI on all 4 tires since it has a 383 stroker in it

Big difference when you add it up, reduction of reciprocating(?) weight is a +.
Love rally wheels but after switching to Welds could NOT believe the difference.

You can get some pretty cool looking 17" wheels with the right offset for about the same money, so the question is still: why not?.

Tires too. I was shocked how much 255/60/15s cost these days.

Bam! 135 bucks apiece. qwank is running them, and they look awesome on his car. I'm saving up for some right now.

If you really would like to know, when you get two sets of new tires off craigslist for less then what a set of larger tires would cost it makes the decision a lot easier.

Well, if that is a significant enough sum of money that it affects your decision, then I guess you got me there. Either way, enjoy your new wheels!
