Default Broken Wheel studs

While taking off my rear wheels two wheel studs on the driver side broke off. Do I have to take the entire trailing arm bearings and spindle apart to replace them?

1-3/4 stud can be snaked in, 2" stud can be put in if the head is slightly ground or the shield is trimmed

When I replaced a broken lug on the front I put the rotor on,put the new lug in stacked bunch o washers on a couple of studs and put the lugs on to hold rotor in place. Then did the same on the replacement. Pulled it right in! Good luck!
