I have a 1977 4 speed. Recently I hear a noise when i engage my clutch and the noise remains as the clutch goes all the way to the bottom. Once it reaches the top the noise goes away. I wear two hearing aids so sometimes it's hard for me to pick up noise. Any clues? Thanks in advance.

Throwout bearing needs replacement. If your clutch has never been replaced it's probably ready also.
