Hi guys,

at the intake...
working on the heater hose fittings...does the intake to water pump have straight male-to male fittings?

5/8 hose, right?

what about the angle to the heater core? or straight?

for 454...any pics would be great!

Just from memory, I think mine are just 1/2 pipe to 5/8 and 3/4 hose. Nothing special other than chrome plated. The chrome was probably cheaper than the others.

All the ones I have are straight. 2 heater hoses and the 2 for the bypass.

can you remember 5/8 hose or 3/4 hose?

i thought 5/8 to the heater core, and 3/4 to the block bypass

Heater is both- 5/8 and 3/4. The bypass is a molded hose, the new ones are way too long and have to be cut to fit. A standard hose will probably crimp when you try to bend the short radius in it so a molded hose there for sure.

I believe there are stain less steel fittings for doing heater hose set ups .
