Default Bolt-In C3 Coilovers- From Ridetech

Here are some Teaser pics for the C2-C3 coilover kits that are coming soon from RIDETECH.
For the Front
We built new upper and lower StrongArm control arms which allow increased caster; we also included caster slugs for additional adjustment. The new arms have our double shear coilover mount and the lower arms have relocated balljoints to center the wheel in the wheel well. In the kit we include tall spindles for a better camber curve, as well as billet steering arms to fix bump steer and allow bigger wheels.

For the Rear
We completely redesigned the lower arms with an offset for wider wheels. They have a unique ladder structure design for strength and durability. We also created a new third member cross mount with an integrated coilover mount. The kit also has adjustable radius rods.

Best of all it is completely bolt-in!

Ouch! I'd go to a custom tube frame from SRIII and go with their suspension. Your halfway there for that price. It does look like a nice system though.

Compared to the Nova and Camaro the price difference is huge.

Looks very nice. Just too much $$$$ for me. For that price I'd go for a custom frame and suspension.

I already have the Meyer coil over conversion up front...but the taller spindles and billet steering arms separately I would be interested in.

Default Compatibility with steering systems

Very cool system indeed. Quick questions:
- Does it work with the Borgeson steering box? (probably yes)
- Does it work with the Steeroids rack and pinion? (less obvious to me)
Thanks!

I talked with them today, kit will be ready in about 2 months , and they will break it up so you can buy the rear set up by its self or the front, the drop spindles wont work with stock stuff.I like the way the rear coil overs mount to the rear crossmember, the trailing arms look kinda heavy and bulky, but look very strong.

Yes, it will work with the stock manual or power box as well as the Borgeson box (we have the Borgeson box on our 64 and it's great!)

I have not investigated the rack options. Typically I don't like racks in Muscle Cars with the OE frame as they compromise steering geometry (again, I don't know. The rack for the Vette may be ok, but I'm just not sure at this point).
The TruTurn reduces bumpsteer to a minimum and provides an amazing turn in with the new steering arms.

Ridetech builds this stuff about 5 miles from where I live. They make quality parts, but are way out of my league. I guess if you are racing it's worthwhile.

I had to upgrade the rear for the 700 plus ponies under and sticking out of the hood…but that much for the front without the shocks is a bit stiff considering I probably wouldn't notice much of a difference but it sure is pretty
