If you are trying to keep the car original then replace with the same carpet the car came with.

I have a 73 and it was loop. Matching numbers and associated NCRS originallity were over long long ago. I put in cut pile. I think it looks much plusher and nicer. I love it. :yesnod: :yesnod:

Yeah, baby, yeah.

Actually, since you're not concerned with originality, I'd go with the cut.

I decided to go with TrueVette- the same carpet found in C5s.

I had ACC custom mold C5 carpeting to my C3 shape and it worked GREAT. I can't get you any pictures right now, but just go look at a C5 and imagine it in your car. Its much shorter and it really makes the car look and feel more modern in a definate yet subtle way. ACC provided me every piece I needed and it matches my interior great (I have a camel interior). The best part is they only charged ~$50 more then the stock kit they had for my '81. Worth considering.

Interesting.

I like the 80/20 loop. As stated above it is easy to keep clean.
