79 vette headlights wont open
lights close but not opening. checked vacuum lines with guage, ok. this is a project car. found rod seal on back of actuator bad. will this effect opening of lights ? NOTE. only one appears bad but neither light opens. also does not open with bybass switch under steering column. ANY AND ALL HELP APPRECIATED . scott

You can manually push them open from the bottom.Mine right now wont open turning the lights on but when I push open the drivers side the pass side pops up. My next project!
