Update...
Starter is Installed and shimmed...she fires up immediately !!!
I let it run to get hot, shut it off, waited a min, and then she fires back up 😃

Problem solved !

Where did you get the starter from? I don't have that problem, yet, but I'd still like to put a mini starter on. Good job on getting it figured out

Hey guys - I just wanted to report back, its been almost 2 weeks and I am Thrilled with this mini starter !!! it fires right up...and when the motor is good and warm - no issues and no more heat soak from the aftermarket headers. $70.00 bucks very well spent, and that lifetime warranty....yea can't complain

i wouldn't have the factory starter back , i can be a coral reef for all i care. the mini starter i have works great. glad your pleased.
