I have read the post concerning this my pasneger headlight goes down but the drivers does not i have used the little black **** under the steering coloumn but the headlight is stuck in the up position how can i get it down until i can diagnose the problem or take it to the shop

with the engine off you should be able to gently push down on the headlight door while reaching under the nose of the car and pushing on the link that opens the door
