Windshield Washer Pump Interchange
Hi,
Does anyone know which GM washer pumps will fit in a mid-70s Vette? There's no interchange listed in the Hollander manual, but I find it hard to believe GM would design and manufacture a pump specifically for a car that sold under 40,000 units a year.
Thanks,
Jonathan

If the car is a 74 (as your forum info suggest), it was not a generic pump.
The generic pump in the washer jar started in 1975.
72-74 original pumps had bullet terminals on them, the generic pumps have flat terminals and would necessitate cutting the harness to install.
Here is the correct new pump for the 1972-1974 cars.
