Default c3 window problems

my passenger side window will not go up or down the guy i bought it from said that he checked the motor and its fine any ideas?

That's a regular problem with these old cars, that are decades old, the grease gets all hard and the motor has to fight to get it up. Do a search on this tech forum and also on the General forum. A ton of threads and info on this.

Could also be electrical too.

Open the door and with the power on, have someone hold the switch in the up or down position (which ever position is appropriate in your situation), gently manipulate the wire bundle that goes between the door jam and the door. You can also disengage the protective bellows where it connects to the door and where it connects to the door jam. This will allow you to manipulate more of the harness. If the window reacts favorably to the wire bundle being manipulated, you need to run down the wire that is the problem and repair it.

If nothing happens, I would move to the switches under the console and check for power and continuity.
