New hood
Hay everyone .my motor up grade on this 78 .is going very well. But for what I have done. I am going to have to change the hood I would like to put a higher cowl on it to fit the air breather .can anyone point the way to a a after market cowl that is 2 to 3 inches of stock that I can put on

Several of the typical large corvette vendors have the smaller cowl hoods such as Zip, Mid American, Corvette Central, Ecklers etc. I would check with each of them to see what they offer.
When you get into a bit larger of a cowl, usualy about a 4" minimum, you can check out Glasstek, VFN, etc.
Just google, "C3 cowl hood forum" and you'll get a lot of pictures and reading material to figure it out.
