68 wiper door actuator will not move
68 wipers were not working, so used Willcox and other posts here to sort it out (much thanks!).
Finally found the problem and pulled out the wiper door actuator (coffee can with 5/16" rod) and it is frozen up. Looks like a replacement aftermarket. Shell is not rusted or in bad shape, I guess the diaphram is stuck as I can not get it to move pulling vacuum on either side or by pulling or pushing. Also looks like it is all welded up, no easy entry that I can see.
Any experience or advice in trying to get it freed up? Or should I just plan on getting one for Christmas, they are a little pricey

I wish there was a better answer, but we just repaired the same issue with the 68 early car we restored. After it was removed the rod would not budge... We replaced the actuator and everything was fine. Unfortunately, there really isn't a way to repair the actuator or at least for us it's cheaper for the customer for us to replace vs. trying to repair or rebuild.

Thanks for the feedback!
yep, I have not seen too many things that I can not tear up
The trick is actually fixing it after it is in pieces???
Might try the usual suspects, WD40, penetrating oil, ect. hopefully we will not completely dissolve the rubber inside toooo bad! Or maybe just not drive in the rain which is probably what your mama would tell you.

Aside from tearing the actuator apart to attempt a repair... (which would cost more to our customer than a new unit), there was nothing we could do aside from replacing.
