I am replacing the dash on my 1975 C3 and also the dash vent. Does anyone know if the original vents were painted to match the interior? I'm not having much luck finding information. The car is black with a saddle brown interior, so it would still match the exterior paint if I went that direction.

have you looked at the vendor replacements, they all appear to be chrome.

It's the defrost vent in the dash, vendor replacements are all black. The broken one currently in my car was painted to match. I will probably paint it the saddle brown.
