Default HELP 1980 Blower motor constantly runs???

Thanks in advance for any troubleshooting ideas..
My 1980 Corvettes blower motor constantly runs..right when I turn on the key/switch and never stops I'm baffled any Help ideas I appreciate..

Not sure what you're saying. Did you mean to say it continues to run after shutting off the key, as in run-on or dieseling?

I believe in 78's on up it is suppose to run all of the time.

Oh ok LOL you mean the circulation fan/blower. Yeah it's supposed to blow all the time.

Thanks guys for the responses..just seems weird it automatically comes on when I turn the key to start the car and never shuts off although on a low setting.. because in the summer it blows hot air into the car..seems counter productive to the AC..

Locate the relay for the blower on the upper passenger side of the engine bay on the firewall and pull the plug out of the relay-no more fan running in the summer all the time….I just put the plug back into the relay on my 78 for heat in the colder months after it has been disconnected for the last 5 month…

It needs to be on to keep the cabin pressurized, so no fumes creep in

Not true….If fumes are creeping into the cabin, you need a new exhaust system….

I guess I should be dead from driving with the blower off for the last 25 years…..
