Default 1977 w/ zz4 engine water temp sensor

Does the water temp. Sensor on the new block different rating. Should it be replaced with the original for correct temp. Reading. The new one on the block reads a little higher on the gauge although there is no overheating. Thanks

The gauge and sender are matched for accurate readings. So best to use the original!

If not get a hold of Willcox Corvette who has just developed a part to get you gauge dialed in....in case you have to change out sensors due to the threads in the heads are different.

Default 70 zz

I have a ZZ crate engine in my 70 which I installed in early 90's and I used my old original owner 1970's temperature sender and it is still working.
