Qjet replacement and Performer intake questions
I just purchased a 73 with completely stock L-48 350 and the Qjet carb. The carb is a remanufactured one and the secondary throttle shaft is sucking air so I am going to replace it. After reading some posts about these things, I'm thinking that a good aftermarket replacement would be the better choice, so I am looking for recommendations on a good one that will retain factory type reliability and function while improving the performance.
Next question? I have Performer intake. If I install that will I be able to maintain the stock air cleaner that seals to the bottom of the hood?

If you drop me an e-mail request for my "Carb Screening Services info sheet" I'll send you some info on how to locate good, rebuildable Q-Jets that would be best suited for your application.
