Crossfire is back together... (WITH PICTURES !!!)
We still need to hook up the cat (gutted) and Flowmaster Delta 50's and fine tune the valve lash and it's ready to rock. I should be somewhere around 305HP / 380 FtLb. Can't wait to get this baby back on the road!

Re: Crossfire is back together... (Aaron-74)
I know you've seen all of this motor that you can handle in the past 3 weeks Aaron. As soon as we get the last of it done you won't have to bleed and sweat over it anymore. :D

Not for sale ! I'm going to keep this one for a while. I'll let you know if I ever decide to sell it, but it's got a good home for a long time with me. :yesnod:

It looks like you spent allot of time in that engine bay. Very good job and I agree, I haven't seen many Crossfire engine bays that have been detailed like yours.

Re: Crossfire is back together... (terry82)
Thanks. I sandblasted it down to the metal and painted it High heat aluminum. The cleaner lid screws were blasted and painted with the metallic coat anodized blue. I need to replace the alternator, it looks horrible. After that, I need to clean up a few other spots and she'll look like new again. We (Aaron74 and Ken73 mostly) have to install the exhaust system, set the valve lash, charge the AC, and it will be on the road again. Here is what was done :
Summit Cam 112 204/214 420/442
dynomax ceramic coated headers
flowmaster delta 50 series mufflers
chrome tips
gutted cat converter
summit 1.52/1 rockers
chrome Summit Racing valve covers
Holley Ignition Module
Accel SuperCoil
Mr Gasket breathers
Taylor SST 8mm aluminum braided wires
Port Intake
Port Heads
chrome master cylinder cover
fel-pro gaskets
blasted and painted just about everything
remove air pump and alot of emissions crap
heavy duty orifice valve
vacuum/charge AC

Nice job guys. Sorry I couldn't make it by this last weekend, got all tied up. Any problems with the Dynomax's and are you going modify and use the existing exhaust system?

Re: Crossfire is back together... (Jman)
How hard is it to get to the spark plugs with those headers?
I am guessing by the picture that you must re-rout the spark plug wires?
How does the car run with the emmisions crap removed?
My smog pump is making some noise = time to remove smog grear and get headers!
