Default Fuel Filter 68' L71, Where Should It Be ??

Where should an inline fuel filter be on a 427 Tri-Carb motor? Thanks, Tom.

Hi Tom,
I believe that originally 68 engines with Holley carburetors had an internal bronze filter, not one visible in the fuel line.
This was true for the 400, 435, and 430 hp engines.
Regards,
Alan

Thanks Alan and FastFun.... That's what I thought as well !! Just wanted to be sure. The reason why I asked is I am having my carbs rebuilt and the carb shop told me they where filthy !!
