Default Picking up the project after 3 years, distributor label mess

Trying to pick up my project afetr 3 years . Well happy face actually. Have no idea where I ended or where to start.

So desided to finish my engine.

I notice that my fire order or labeling is not correct on the distributor

the fire order I see is 15426378 for my 454. Any thoughts on that. Also any advice on restarting a project is welcome.

The firing order is cast into the intake manifold; it is not included on the distributor label. Either the number on that dizzy is a Part Number, or you have a rather unusual, 9 cylinder engine in your car.

In that case, I don't think the Ford dizzy will mesh correctly with the SBC cam. Or, if it did, the OP would have to put anti-rejection drugs in the engine oil to keep it alive.
