Default More headroom

I've searched around some other threads on this problem and they are about upgraded seats or cutting out the hump in the floor, neither of what I really want to do.

Considering I'm a tall guy and the seat is all the way back, does anyone know if the seat tracks can be removed and the seat bolted direct to the floor to gain a bit more headroom?

I removed the tracks from the clam shell on my seat and bolted it to pieces of flat metal and then to the floor. Gave me a lot more headroom and some more legroom. The seat is no longer adjustable but hey I am the only driver

If that's your car in your avatar Al, do you have fibreglass or glass T-tops? The glass tops will gain you about 2 inches in headroom.

Hi Al Kay, Take your head liners out, it also makes the tops fit easy in the t top bags which makes more room in the back
Mine have been like that for 2 years!!
All good Dave

Yeah I've got the liner out but my helmet still touches the t top, I'm going to pull the seat and try the option of removing the slides.
