Fan belts
Hi Guys. I know the total length of fan belts I need, but not able to translate that into a specific belt. I know a decent parts place has a tool to measure a belt length. I thought some belts would have the length as part of their stock number. Any thoughts? Thanks for the help and time.

For example, the gates topcog 15310 has an effective length of 31.0 inches
The problem is of course your usually measuring the outside length, which for this is a 31.57" length
If you go to the dayco topcog site they have a list of most belt requirements by vehicle, even our old clunkers. It's actually really close to correct for my car. BUT with pulley wear etc, maybe consider it a starting point

Thanks for the help guys. Actually found a smart guy at a NAPA warehouse here in Miami that was able to hook me up. And yes, as I thought, the length is part of the stock numbers. Actually a wide variety of specific sizes were available. The build continues!
