You do realize they are 16" rims and the tires choices are much better when you go to 17" or larger? They are two different backspacing front 4.75 and rear 5.25.

I support doing what you want and I am guessing camaro wheels are not wide anyway but yeah, if you want modern wheels 16" is almost as hard to fid good wide tires for as 15",
I would hate everywhere I go some loud mouth gearhead spewing,
"Why da ya gots camaro wheels on your vette?"

It's not money well spent nor is it an upgrade in performance or image.
As stated above you're much better off with 17s.
