Default Need Help with Right Fastener

Need help from somebody with a '72 or '71 with AC. There are two screws that hold the AC Vent assembly onto the dash right below the vent. My car is missing them. They insert horizontally. Can somebody with one take one out, measure the diameter, length, and pitch so I can find replacements. None of the suppliers out there seem to have these two screws.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi sr,
Check Paragon Corvette Reproductions #14927K.
It looks like those 2 screws are included.
Regards,
alan

Great, thanks. I seemed to have been looking in the wrong section previously. $3 and done!

I think they are #8 sheet metal screws 5/8" long. The originals are oval-head with Phillips drive and chrome or nickel plated, similar to the other screws that hold the instrument cluster to the dash.

Alan71..

I think they are chrome plated. But, some of the 'flash chrome' stuff looks more like nickel plating than chrome.
