Default oil after break in

ok, at the risk of starting an 'oil war' thread, I have a question on what type of oil to use after break in. I just installed a new cam and hydraulic flat tappet lifters and did the start up with royal purple break in oil with Comp cams break in additive and she started and ran fine. So now I will change the oil out. My question is do I need to continue using the break in oil, or just go with synthetic. I know there are many different opinions on this and just need some basic advice. My cam lift is 'only' 477/.480 so nothing drastic. Do I:
  • use break in oil again for the second oil change
  • use a good synthetic with comp cams additive
  • just use a good synthetic and good to go from there

Thanks

I used driven conventional break in oil and was told by the builder to use driven conventional oil 15w-50 for at least 1,000 miles before using a synthetic...I have a roller cam...525/.525 lift

After you get the rings seated I would go with amsoil z rod oil.It is designed specifically for the classic flat tappet market.
