Default Another 72 Coil Wire Question

I have a 72 small block that a previous owner intalled a S/E breakerless ignition in. I would like to take that out and replace it with a stock points type ignition. Can someone tell me what wires were originally connected to the "+" terminal of the coil? Right now I have a white/red resistance looking wire and a black wire that shares a common connector with it.

Thanks.

that sounds like the stock wires coming from the wire harness. During starting you should have 12+ volts and during running the voltage should drop down to around 9+ volts.
