has any body put holley throttle body on a 71 vet, how hard was it and was it worth the time and money

"Thottle body" is typicaly a term used for EFI, is that what your after?

The Holley FI fits in place of your carb without issue and they have linkage brackets that can adjust or are specifics to GM , Ford, Mopar.... Air clean bolts on the same. The work comes in with fuel plumbing , welding O2 sensor bungs, wiring and the rest of the sensors.
