Default Poly ball joint boots

It looks like the OEM ball joint boots for the uppers are machined or clamped on. I want to replace the boots on the uppers but I don't want to tear them off if these don't work.

I tied the poly. They don't work at the top on the Moog but work fine on the bottom.

Well that's disappointing! The top is the ones that I need it to work on.

Energy Suspension part number 9-13125.

(the upper boots aren't "clamped" in place, but their "flanges" are held in place by these bolted in retainers....)
