Hi, have the opportunity to pickup a set of ceramic coated heddman headers, Block hugger - tight fit (#68506). I have ZZ4 in 79. Currently using 70 LT1
Ram exhaust manifolds. Has anyone had experience using Heddman on the ZZ4? Any input is appreciated. Thanx... :seeya

If they are the shorty headers magazine tests have shown very little gain over ram horns. Years ago i had Heddman 1 5/8th headers. No problems with the fitting and the were nearly equal length tubing

I keep hearing that but just from a direct flow perspective, on the rams horns the exhaust exit directly into the face of the manifolds then has to turn a 90 degree corner then turns another 90 corner where on the shorties it bends around then into the pipe, you would think they would offer some advantage. But facts is facts I guess.

I have Heddman Headers on my ZZ4 but thet are made to fit the ZZ4. They have "D" shaped primary tubes. I got them from Jim Pace. If you are getting the cheap or free...I'd say go for it.
