Default Can't get side yokes out to replace seals

Greetings all, I know its been covered before but none of it seems to apply to my situation. I have a 1980, leaks a little limited slip on right. I've pulled unit out and have bat wing off. Managed to remove C-clips but yokes will not come out. Been all over net but Dana-44 just gets Jeep references. Checked some threads here but none of what they talk about seems to apply. For instance, the big pin will not come out because it hits the pinion. The yolks go right up to the gear but stop moving, even with a slide hammer. I have the right unit, Ecklers sent the correct cover seal. Are there additional clips or pins that I'm missing?

There is probably wear on the shaft ends causing it to have a knurled end. You need to grind it down with a Dremel tool or such. Be sure to flush the inside out afterwards to get all the metal particles out.

The C-Clip grooves just have burrs on them and a little fine-tooth Bastard file will remove the burrs.
